Ambli is a village inside Dholera SIR, in Dholera taluka of Ahmedabad district, covering roughly 55.2 square kilometres. Unlike villages outside the SIR, land here falls under DSIRDA’s Town Planning scheme process rather than the ordinary revenue-office route.
Ambli’s defining feature is how concentrated its land is in a single scheme: roughly 68% of the village falls within TP Scheme 1, alongside portions of Kadipur, Gogla and Bhadiyad. TP1 is one of the more advanced schemes in the SIR — plan-passing has already started in its 1A1 and 1A2 sub-schemes, meaning some parcels here have moved further through the reconstitution process than land in later-stage schemes.
The village is also recorded under more than one spelling in official planning documents — Ambli, Ambli and Ambali all appear across different sources, which is worth knowing if you’re searching land records directly.
Because most of Ambli sits in TP1, the first thing to establish for any specific parcel is which sub-scheme it falls in — 1A1, 1A2, or elsewhere — and what stage that sub-scheme has reached. Plan-passing having started in 1A1 and 1A2 does not mean every parcel within them already has a Final Plot number; it means the process is underway.
Ask for the Final Plot (FP) number, the DSIRDA NOC, and confirmation of NA clearance before treating any Ambli parcel as construction-ready. A survey number alone, without these, tells you where the land is — not what stage it has reached.
For the land record itself, use AnyROR, the Gujarat Revenue Department portal at anyror.gujarat.gov.in. Select Ahmedabad district, then Dholera taluka, then Ambli — village code 048.
Ambli is the single largest contributor to TP Scheme 1. Of TP1’s total area, roughly 68.4% comes from Ambli land, with Kadipur (16.8%), Gogla (14.7%) and a small portion of Bhadiyad (0.07%) making up the rest. In other words, TP1 is predominantly an Ambli scheme.
Note what this figure does and does not say. It describes how much of TP1 is made up of Ambli land — not what proportion of Ambli village sits inside TP1. Those are different questions, and the second needs the individual TP scheme documents to answer properly.
TP1 is among the more advanced schemes in Dholera SIR — plan-passing has started in its 1A1 and 1A2 sub-schemes, which puts parcels there further along than land in schemes still at draft stage. This is a process indicator, not a completion guarantee: confirm the specific sub-scheme and its current stage for any parcel before relying on it.
These percentages are reported from secondary sources and should be confirmed against official DSIRDA-sanctioned scheme documents before being treated as final.
